California Discrimination and Harassment Law Updates
Anti-harassment and discrimination regulations are important to any business and all individuals. Now, California is extending anti-harassment regulations to include temporary workers and interns. Our lawyers applaud this step by California as a move in the right direction. Not being harassed at work should be a right with greater protections at work. The provisions in new law, AB 1433, will also be added to the mandatory posters that employers must both display and hand out to all employees.
Unfortunately, regulations do not always prevent harassment or discrimination. If you or someone you know is harassed in the workplace environment, please call the workers’ compensation attorneys with the Moga Law Firm at 909-931-2444.
